It seems like most of us have a problem with authority. And that is because submission to another is difficult if we’ve grown up without a father, or a father that checked out from his role as the leader (abusive, drunk, drug addict, womanizer, etc…). Therefore our misconception of authority has been warped.

I know a Father that will never hurt you and lead you like no other. In fact He is the Father of all mankind, God Himself… John 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

He astonished humanity and took on flesh… John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Are you tired and need a Father that will never leave you or forsake you?
