Lord may I learn to open my heart to you today

Sometimes we get angry and begin to question God when all we want to do is the right thing, and things just seem to be falling apart. You are not alone, king David a man like you and I went through the same thing… Psalm 13:1-4 How long, O Lord? Will You forget me forever? How long will You hide Your face from me? How long shall I take counsel in my soul, Having sorrow in my heart daily? How long will my enemy be exalted over me? Consider and hear me, O Lord my God; Enlighten my eyes, Lest I sleep the sleep of death; Lest my enemy say,“I have prevailed against him”; Lest those who trouble me rejoice when I am moved.

When you consider God your best friend you are able to have a relationship that allows you to open up to Him, just like king David did.

David didn’t end his prayer with doubt that God was God. He ended his prayer adoring Him… Psalm 13:5-6 But I have trusted in Your mercy; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, Because He has dealt bountifully with me.

Prayer for today… Lord may I learn to open my heart to you today.
