Here is a plea with a strong admonition… Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. This would include our actions, mouth, body languish and intention of our heart. The question we should ask ourselves would be, “are my actions giving God glory and I’m a living sacrifice to God?” The answer is personal.

The second part of the thought is… Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Are we doing things the way a secular (godless) person would do it? You see this is left to each of us. Only we know if our actions are acceptable and in the perfect will of God. Yes that is why it is not about religion but about having a personal relationship with God. Outside of ourselves only He knows the intentions of our actions.

Prayer for today… Lord help me to be a living sacrifice and do your will today.
