There are dynamics that take place when a person draws close to God. We begin to exhibit fruit that produces godliness…. Galatians 5:22-26 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

The later part of the scripture warns us that even though there is fruit in our life’s, we still need to walk in the Spirit. Because if we don’t we begin to be conceited, provoking each other and being envious of the other person we are suppose to love.

It is very easy to get to a point in our life’s where we begin to glory in ourselves. We think we have all the answers and than our hearts begin to harden inside with superficial fruit.

Prayer for today… Lord help me to not walk in the flesh but in the Spirit today
