God is good all the time! God’s goodness is expressed throughout all His word (the bible). Our best respond is to thank Him for it. Psalm 118:1 Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!For His mercy endures forever. There are times when we think that our parents are good because of the way they treat their children. But when Jesus was addressed as “good master” He responded like this… Matthew 19:17 So He said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.” Jesus was basically saying ” you recognize I’m God, keep the commandments.”

We all believe that Jesus did nothing but good all His life here on earth. And if we believe that, we can believe that all He wants for our lives is good. Yes it’s very difficult to believe that when we are going through difficulties, or trials. Yet He promises to never leave us nor forsake us. Hebrews 13:5-6 Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said,“I will never fail you.I will never abandon you.” So we can say with confidence,“The Lord is my helper,so I will have no fear.What can mere people do to me?” Why does money show up there before the admonition, because money is the greatest cause of heart ache.
Trust Him today. He is good and will never leave you or forsake you!
