Have you ever read the historical story of Joseph? He was sold off by his own brothers into slavery and than sent off to prison for a crime he did not commit. Yet he never took his eyes off God and trusted Him till the end of his life.

Joseph never blamed God nor did he allow his heart to get hard. In fact he had this to say to his brothers after they had mistreated him… Genesis 50:19-20 Joseph said to them, “Do not be afraid, for am I in the place of God? But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.

You are not alone when you are despised and hated by those that feel threatened by you. Even when it’s your own family perpetrating a crime against you and ultimately God.

Prayer for today… Lord may I remember that all things work together for good to those that love you.
