Moses the great leader that helped lead the Israelites out of their captivity from Egypt, was now dead.

His successor Joshua was now the man. He was left with the great responsibility of leading Israel into the promise land. And from the mouth of God he is told… Joshua 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

It is the same instruction that we have today. Read your bible every day and apply it daily to your life. So that your soul can prosper and have good success.

Here is now the rest of your instructions… Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
