Why would God give us protective spiritual armor? Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Our battle is not against our family members, spiritual family (those that supposedly believe like us), or even friends… Ephesians 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

It’s very difficult to stay focus and to know that our battle is not against another human being. Especially when all we see is that person deliberately attacking us.

All that matters in combat is to listen to our Commander and to stay alive… Ephesians 6:13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Prayer for today… Lord help me to listen and to put on my armor so that I can remain “standing!”
