Why is it that the heart is desperately wicked? Why do we still have adulterous, contentious, jealous, hateful, selfish ambitions, and a dissentious heart. Because where your heart is there will your treasure be! There is a war that rages inside of us. Our flesh is lustfully warring against the Spirit that resides within us.

We are faced with daily decisions that if left to the heart has the tendency to chose sinful fleshly and worthless treasures. Where is our heart today? What kind of treasures will we fill it with? Where will we treasure hunt today? I suggest opening the greatest treasure chest ever given to mankind, the “Bible”! It is a discerner of the thoughts and intent of the heart. Let not your heart be troubled believe in God!
