Good morning church and friends
Did you know that Jesus’s birth is the only event in history that we see angels and shepherds and people celebrating… Luke 2:13-15, 20 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” So it was, when the angels had gone away from them into heaven, that the shepherds said to one another, “Let us now go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us.” Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told them.
It is and honor and privilege to celebrate Jesus’s birth…. Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be calledWonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
No doubt that Christ was not born on December 25. Yet the fact remains that He was born and His birth is worthy to celebrate and commemorate. Merry Christmas church and friends and Happy Birthday My King Jesus!
Prayer for today… Lord may I remember the reason why I celebrate His birth
